ReplyDeleteI think there's a hill with an incline/tram kind of thing-the Duquesne incline maybe-that is supposed to have a great view of the city. We wanted to try it but didn't have time when we were there.
ReplyDeleteIf you want excitement just try under a bridge after midnight in any downtown area of any city that you are in.Who knows, you might even wind up on an episode of "Cops".Just try to keep your shirts on.
Oh, that incline is in Pittsburgh.
ReplyDeleteI was just in Pittsburgh and the Dusquesne Incline was pretty cool - the view was unbelievable. We were there in the evening - so it was cool to see the city lit up. I am pretty sure that it runs until sometime after midnight. We had a an afternoon meal at a place called Rolands Seafood Grill (http://www.rolandsseafoodgrill.com) - they had food of all kinds (the pizza;s were huge from what we saw) - and if any of you like lobster, the hot lobster roll was off the hook. Sounds like a great trip! (Allison Zellers Echenrode)
